✅ Confirm a Transaction on the Pin Pad
If you experienced internet or connectivity issues on the POS and the transaction is not showing, you can verify it directly on the Pin Pad since the Pin Pad is where the transaction is actually processed.
Please follow the steps below to confirm the transaction:
- Ensure the TSYS or TransIT Sierra payment application is open.
2. Tap each corner of the screen in a clockwise pattern, as shown in the picture, repeatedly until you are prompted to enter a password.
3. Enter the passwords below in the following order.
If the first password does not work, it likely means the date on your Pin Pad is incorrect.
Today’s Date
Yesterday’s Date
Tomorrow’s Date
The date must be entered in the following format:
➔ DDMMYYYY (2-digit day, 2-digit month, 4-digit year) — no spaces, no dashes.
4. Select History
5. Select the transaction you are confirming.
Transactions are listed in order from newest to oldest.
6. Scroll down to view the response code.
This code will indicate whether the transaction was approved or declined.
