🛒 Enable & Use EBT in Quickvee

The Quickvee system supports Food EBT transactions for eligible customers.

To accept EBT payments, you must:

1. Enable Food EBT as a Payment Option
2. Mark Eligible Products as EBT-Approved
3. Process an EBT Transaction at Checkout

Step 1: Enable Food EBT as a Payment Option

Notes
Note: You must have access to Station Settings under your 4-digit PIN to enable EBT.

1. From the Lock Screen, enter your 4-digit PIN access code.


2. Tap Station Settings from the Quickvee Home Screen.


3. Tap Register Settings.


4. Check the box next to Food EBT to enable it.


5. Tap Save.


Food EBT is now available as a payment method on the checkout screen.


Step 2: Enable EBT on Specific Products

For a transaction to process as Food EBT, the purchased items must be marked as EBT-eligible.

1. From the Lock Screen, enter your 4-digit PIN access code.


2. Tap Inventory from the Quickvee Home Screen.


3. Tap Products.


4. Find the product by:

  1. Typing its name in the search bar
  2. Scanning its UPC

5. Tap the product to open its settings.


6. Scroll to Variants and check the box next to Food Stamp Eligible.


7. Tap Save.



Info
The selected product is now EBT-eligible and can be purchased using Food EBT.

Step 3: Process a Food EBT Transaction

1. From the Quickvee Home Screen, tap Register.


2. Add Food Stamp Eligible products to the cart.

  1.  Non-eligible products can also be added, but will require a split transaction.

3. When the cart is ready, tap Pay


4. Tap EBT Food on the payment screen.

  1. If non-eligible items are in the cart, adjust the payment amount to match the EBT-eligible total.


5. The payment request will be sent to the terminal.

6. The customer swipes their EBT card and enters their Food EBT PIN.

7. Transaction complete!

 
Notes
If any non-eligible items remain, process the remaining balance using another payment method.
